Kantaji Temple: The temple is a late medieval

Mainamati: This place is an isolated ridge of
low hills in deltaic Bangladesh, where archaeological excavations have revealed very
significant ancient Buddhist monasteries and temples.
In several phases of excavation 50 odd sites have so far been located here. Most
important among the excavated sites is 7th century AD Shalban
Vihara. |

Puthia - the temple-town
has the largest number of historically important old Hindu temples.
The most amazing of them is the Govinda Temple,
with incredibly intricate designs in terracotta embellishing the entire surface. The Siva temple,
stands at the entrance to Puthia, contains an impressive lingam
black basalt stone. |

Mahasthangarh
is the earliest urban archaeological site in Bangladesh belongs to at least 4th century BC.
This was the oldest capital of the country called

Lalbagh Fort: Lalbagh Fort
is a Mughal palace fortress in the
the old part of Dhaka city. The construction
of the fort was commenced in 1678 AD. The fort

(audience hall) with a Turkish bath in its ground

Curzon Hall: This edifice, one of the best
examples of Dhaka's architecture, is a happy blend
of European and Mughal elements, particularly
noticeable in its projecting facade
which has both horse-shoe and cusped arches. The
style combined traditional art with modern technology

Tea Garden: The northeastern
part of Bangladesh is a traditional
tea growing area. The picturesque Surma River Valley is covered
with terraces of tea gardens and lush green
tropical forests. The area has
three of the largest tea gardens in the world.
